Hey, what's going on guys this Eddie Harvey from eddielharvey.com. Hey, today I want to just briefly talk to you guys about building your MLM online, and when it comes to social media guys and the different types of post that you can create to help you generate more leads and recruit more people into your business. So obviously social media today guys is a huge part of MLM and it's all about how you go about it.
The one thing I will tell you that will retract more people than will attract people is to be all over social media saying join my business, sign-up, sign-up, come join my team things like that where it's just a pitch fest, it's a sales fest you may have heard this before but that's the number one way to repel people. Well, on the flip side of that, I want to show you how to pull in people. I want to share with you four different type of post that you can create related to your opportunity, to your company, to your products and services that will peak people's interest and get them want to come to you to get more information about your opportunity and potentially to you recruiting more people onto your team.
Alright, the very first post guys, if you're using social media guys, is to create a value based post. If you've seen any of my videos I've talked a lot about creating value and value is number one way to serve people, in my opinion, different type of post but it's pretty much an educational type post where for people it's going to be about-. What's in it for me, that's what people all about. What's in it for me so if you creating a value base post you're talking about something where let's say you're taking your product whatever your product may be and you're educating people on your product, the value that it has, the way it can impact their lives and give them a positive impact versus talking about all of the sales aspects of it.
So if you are in a weight loss program and let's just say you have a weight loss shake, you can create a value base post on social media saying five ways to shake away the pounds, just giving an example. Shake away the pounds can help you lose ten pounds in the next 10-days without exercising and diet. Five benefits of shake away the pounds whatever it may be.
You know five ways shake away the pounds can help you, that's not related to weight loss. You get what I'm saying that's where you're going to educate people on your products and services which in turn will make them want to know more, peak their interest and you know will help you get more results like that. So that first way value base post.
The second type of post guys is I like to say results post or recognition post and these work so phenomenal. In a previous company, I recruited a lot of people on Facebook just using this type of post where I'm sharing results be it my own or other people that were on my team. They don't have to be on my direct downline, it could be my up line, my side-line or even people that's just in the company that’s sharing result in maybe one of the other groups where you're just talking about the results that a person got using your products or service. Or what they are doing, you know someone rank advance, share net, saying congratulations to Tommy on levelling up twice in the last 30 days, you know an opportunity.
When you start doing things like that and people see you are consistently sharing results that people are getting or talking about how people are ranking up and people are creating additional income stream without taking away from what they are doing, just sharing that guy and not saying come join us. By just putting the results out there and just sharing it and then you know say hey by the way if you're looking to create an additional stream of income for yourself, you know inbox me if you are interested in getting more information or something like that.
Once you do that, when you share results guys you will get results in a form people's interest being peak and wanting to know more information because that's what pulls people in guys. If someone sees a shred of evidence that you're getting result, a lot of people will watch but if you can show somebody that success is happening they'll quickly inbox you or call you whatever it may be because they're going to say hey man I keep seeing you posting these results that people are getting, I want to know more information. Alright so that the second way guys is results, I mean recognition or results.
The third type of post guys is a story post. Now when you think story I'm not talking about this long drawn out story of why you got involved in the industry which all of that is fine but guys when I talk about story I'm talking about if you have a story to tell, if someone else has a story to tell, part of it obviously is why you got involved but at the end of the day it's pretty much so of a rags to riches. When you first got started you broke busted and disgusted and now here you are 3-years later and you're making a multiple six figure income from the comfort of your home, that's the type of story people will want to hear.
They don't want to hear a rags to rags story, if you're still struggling, if you still haven't received the results that you want to receive yet then you don't really need to be doing a story type of post. Again, guys this can be your personal story if you went from rags to riches and it doesn't even have to be you making a six figure income it could be you telling a story of you were getting no results in your business and 90-days later you’re now getting 10 leads per day; that's a story people like to hear because it’s kind of result base but it's something that can inspire and motivate people and uplift them.
Again, even if it's not your own personal story it can be a story that was shared in your company, your up line story, your side-line story, someone that's just in the company general tory or guess what you can interview people and with people telling you their story of success and you can share that as well. So story posts are great, story posts are very simple but they get results like crazy because who doesn't like a good story, right. We all love a good story especially when it's a story of someone at the bottom on their way to the top and to the top, alright.
Now, last type of post guys is an engagement post. Engagement posts are phenomenal guys and they get results. There are different types of engagement posts you can do, you can do an engagement post where you ask a question, and you can ask people to respond to that. So you can put a question out here and say hey who would like to lose 5-pounds, 10-pounds in the next 2-days, type yes in the comment or something like that whatever it may be.
Then for people to start typing yes, you can now follow-up with them and share with them how they can do it. That's getting engagement, you want people to like your post, click your post, like your post, leave a comment. Or you can tell people that hey, listen, you're telling them something guys, you know being consistent and persistent are key to success, hit like if you agree. If you do that now you start getting people to hit like from there you could engage them in conversation say way to go, Sarah, that's right.
You know being consistent and persistent are key to success. You know are you being consistent and persistent in your actions or whatever it may be? You know engagement posts it all boils down on your post to getting someone some type of way through a question or putting up poll out, you can put a poll out and say how many leads have you generated online? Click A if you generate no leads; B 10 to 50; C 50 to 100; D 100 and over; E 1000 and over, whatever it may be. You're creative with it but you want people to be able to engage and get into interaction and then now what it's going to do is not only allowing you to follow up with those people is going to create more-, keep your post at the top on social media and also get more eyes from other people your post because of the type of engagement that it is, so engagement posts are powerful.
All four type post I just shared with you are powerful, the one thing in common that they all must have when you're done posting guys is that they all must have a strong call to action depend on what you are doing. You want to have a call to action, maybe with the engagement post it might be a little more difficult but if you're creating these post guys you want to tell people-, it's the same thing the call to action being you want to tell people what you want then do like I said you know type yes in the comment. That's a call to action telling them what to do.
